A spiritual journey is a calling. It is something initiated from somewhere beyond the ego, from a depth within the psyche that the ego has no access to on its own.” ~ Adyashanti, The Essence of Spirituality

Devotion to Truth
Meditation bowl, candles, fall leaves
What is the most important thing in life that your heart is devoted to? There is a transformational power that comes from giving attention to that which is fundamental to us at the core of our being. It is our devotion to this depth of connection that orients and vitalizes us throughout the awakening journey.

This month, we feature articles from Adyashanti and Mukti that emphasize the importance of bringing both attention and intention to our spiritual practice and the process of awakening to the truth of our being.

Also in this months issue you will find complimentary downloads and teachings relating to our monthly theme, Devotion to Truth.
“What I learned from all my years of Zen training is that the essence of spirituality is attention and intention. After all, spirituality is the practice of perceiving the spirit of things, meaning the essence or inner reality of things, whether that be one’s own essence, or the essence of life, or the essence of a teacup . . .
From the time we are small, we are told that plants need light and water to grow. To grow in spirit and wakeful, conscious being, we need engaged attention and true intention very much like plants need light and water. In fact, I associate attention with light and intention with water . . .
Sunday Community Practice

My intention with the Sunday Community Practice sessions is to put more focus on the spiritual practice of meditation and to have the teachings be oriented toward the various aspects of effective spiritual practice as it is integrated and lived in daily life.~ Adyashanti

We welcome all who wish to meditate on a consistent basis and dedicate themselves to making enlightened living a significant priority in their lives. Single practice sessions are also available.

Scholarships available for monthly subscriptions. (Apply between December 1 and 15.)

Free Video Broadcasts

Please check our Calendar page for updates about our free video broadcasts. We will be sending dedicated emails for any upcoming broadcasts, live or prerecorded.
In-Person Programs

We will resume offering in-person programs when we feel confident that we can provide an environment that encourages openness and a feeling of safety, where people can comfortably share lodging and dining together, and in which we can gather safely in close proximity to each other. For now, we will continue to monitor news and information regarding public health concerns. When we feel ready to add an in-person program to the calendar, it will be announced via email in our monthly newsletter and published on the calendar page of our website.

Our Deepest Spiritual Calling

By keeping attention and intention directed toward the origination point of your deepest calling, you can attend to the healing of inner conflict without getting sucked into the strong gravitational pull of sticky human dramas and ego agendas.
Form, Flow & Freedom

There are two tracks along the spiritual path that are often vying for our attention. Do we give our attention to the essential nature of ourselves and of life, or give attention to the particulars of our lives and how we go about embodying our essential nature?
