CRDSS is pleased to share a HOST OF HEARTY THANK YOUS to all the participants of Buddy Walk 2023. We sailed past our attendance goal of 400 and fundraising goal of $42,000! It takes a village and ours included Sponsors, Volunteers, Teams Fundraisers, Donors, Board Muscle, Celebration Walkers, Games & Crafts Coordinators, Lion Ambassadors, Good Day Café Crews, Benefit Raffle Designers, Face Painters, Ticket Sellers, IT Specialists, an exciting Pinball Arcade compliments of Silverball Sundays, the new Celebration Walk Cheer Squads featuring Musicians, Superheroes, the Nittany Lion....and more. WOW!

Special Thanks to photographer Pat Little and others capturing the day, alongside video master Matt Wilkinson of Mollynook Films who brought our images to life for all to enjoy!

COMMISSIONERS AWARD PROCLAMATION

The Centre County Board of Commissioners awarded a Proclamation to CRDSS for a second year running, recognizing October as Down Syndrome Awareness Month. The spirited presentation encouraged all citizens to become familiar with our mission of advocacy, information, and support services. CRDSS Member Haley Smith spoke on our behalf at the presentation ceremony where she was congratulated for graduating from the Penn State WorkLink program and earning her certificate from the University campus. Haley was accompanied by Board Member Medora Ebersole who recapped our important mission and programs for the Commissioners and audience.
