Drive-thru Flu Clinics
Flu Season is fast approaching and the Visiting Nurses are here to help! Drive-thru flu clinics are currently taking place on Thursdays through November 11th from 2:00 until 4:30 p.m. at Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, 22 Danbury Road, Wilton. Volunteering at Waveny-VNH is back!
During September, 27 new volunteers completed orientation to join our teams to serve at our 3 Farm Road campus and The Thrift Shop. With the reopening of Farm Road to fully vaccinated volunteers in June, we are seeing a very positive trend in hours recorded per month and number of volunteers recording hours. From June to present we have over 2,200 hours recorded!
Art at The Inn
The Inn, Waveny's Independent Living community, is featuring seasonal art in the lobby and other common areas for the residents to enjoy. Executive Director Katarina Tchakarov then invites the artist to come in and discuss their work with residents. It has been a hit with our community and we are so proud to support local artists!
