So where did we go? Check in was at a hotel in Florence, Alabama. From there for Day 1 we headed to Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad Park where it dumped a couple inches of rain just as we got there to make the trail extra greasy.
For Day 2 we took a drive to Dawsonville, Georgia where we visited the Georgia Motorsports Hall of Fame. Once we got our fill of Nascar, we took a short drive over to Black Moose OHV where we set up our tent cots for the night.
On Day 3 we got up and wheeled MDR, Colby Creek, and Upper V Ditch trails at Black Moose OHV, then packed up our camp and made it to Sylva, North Carolina where we spent the night.
On Day 4 we made our way to Petros, Tennessee which is home to the Brushy Mountain Penitentiary. Once we were done viewing what jail life was like, we made our way to Windrock, Tennessee where we set up camp at Windrock Park, then wheeled on Day 5 starting on Trail 39 (Cadillac Hill) and then hitting Trail 40 before the sun started setting and we made our way back to camp.
For Day 6, we left Windrock and made our way to US 129, through the "Tail of the Dragon" to Deals Gap, North Carolina. We then made our way back to Kimball, Tennessee where we spent the night, then got up for Day 7 and hit Coalmont OHV Park. After wheeling various trails all day, we went back to town and
celebrated not only Victory Dinner, but Zaed’s 21st birthday. All in all, it was a great trip getting back late last week.
