A Message from our Managers:

Faith Gianan: Having worked at Roselani Place for the past 7.5 years has been by far the best place I've ever work. Getting to know each resident personally and being able to make a difference in their lives is why I love coming to work.  Not to mention having the opportunity to work with the most amazing colleagues. We've learned to embrace each other's differences and collectively stay committed to enriching the lives of our residents.

I asked each manager also why they choose to work at Roselani Place and here's what they said: Kalei Figaroa, Activities Director, worked a total of 14 years "this is my second home and where my heart is. To me there is no other place I'd rather be." Keala Dutro, Maintenance Director, 10 years, "I've enjoyed working with elderly and staff... The healthcare industry offers room for growth and improvements, because of these challenges I work for Roselani Place." Diane Alba-Means, Marketing Director and Community Relations, 10 years, "I choose to work at Roselani Place because I have a passion for working with people and enjoy assisting our residents and their families in creating a harmonious living environment." Michele Kalawa, Business Office Manager, 3 years "I enjoy working with the residents and my co-workers, Roselani Place is my second home." Raymond Kapuniai, Housekeeping Director, 2.5 years "love being here at Roselani Place and taking good care of our kupunas. They're part of my family." Alan Cabebe, Director of Food Services, 19 months, "having the heart to take care of our Kupuna feels special."  Cora S Godinez RN , Director of Health Services, 11 months, "each day I come to work, my skills and background, and work experience are thoroughly applied and I am challenged on a weekly basis to learn something new. Love my job!"
  Steve Hansen, Mgr
For the past 7.5 years we have been guided and supported by Steve Hansen, our General   Manager. He was truly missed during his absence and we are grateful to welcome him back.

With the current state of the world it is mindful to remember that "aloha is the essence of relationships in which each person is important to every other person for collective existence." This excerpt from the Aloha Spirit Law explains perfectly that the Aloha Spirit exists within each and every one of us. Respecting our ohana, of both residents and staff, is what makes us who we are and what will continue to be Roselani Place.

With Aloha,
Faith Gianan

Extending a big mahalo to those who donated to our Roselani Place team for the Walk to End Alzheimer's® on Sept 24, 2016.  Our highest contribution of almost $3,800 made us the top fundraising team.  We could not have done it without the participation and efforts of Susan and Lynda Crawford.  And also a special thanks to those who walked this year:  Susan, Lynda, Sue, Jensen, Mandi, Cerys, Mike and Faith.  It was a great day to raise awareness for Alzheimer's disease and help raise $40,000.
