October News for Our District Partners

The new school year is more than a month in and we’re pleased to share that there’s lots of engagement going on, with 528 districts actively participating in Texas College Bridge. Plus, we have more than 100 higher ed partners, now accepting course completions as an indicator of college readiness.

In this month’s newsletter, we address student mastery controls and what you can do if you believe academic dishonesty has taken place by students. We’re also pleased to introduce a new team member and provide information on upcoming training webinars for students as well as our district partners and teachers.

Ensuring Student Mastery: How to Handle Academic Dishonesty

At this time of year, when we have a large number of students signing up and taking courses, we receive inquiries about what to do if you believe academic dishonesty has taken place:

Math Audit

Texas College Bridge is conducting a math audit. If your district is selected for inclusion in the audit, you will receive a letter soon (see a sample letter here). This audit is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure mastery of course material and completions, and we want to thank all districts in advance for your support in this matter.
