Ranch Pond Field Day UCCE Marin County

10/31, 1pm-5pm, three ranches in Marin County

Starting next April, State Water Board requires a usage report from anyone who diverts  water from a stream/river.

For landowners who divert 10-100 acre feet per year this field day will  answer your questions about what exactly is required.

You will visit three ranches where different systems have been installed to monitor the water level and make annual reporting easier. We'll talk through where the equipment can be found, how much it costs and easy ways to get it done. We'll also touch on the reporting requirements and how to get help with filing your reports each year.

Pre-registration is required.  Carpooling is encouraged.
