Sons

Three older ladies are sitting around a table playing bridge and bragging about their sons.

"My Freddie," said Margaret, "Everyone should be so lucky to have a son like my Freddie. Once a week he brings me a huge bouquet of flowers, he's constantly bringing me out to restaurants to eat, if I so much as hint that I want something the next morning it's on my doorstep."

"That's very nice about your Freddie," says Gertrude. "But with all due respect, when I think about the way my Sammy takes care of me, it just can't compare. Every morning as soon as I wake up, he greets me with bacon and freshly brewed coffee. Every day at lunchtime, he comes over and cooks me a gourmet lunch, and every evening he brings me to his house for supper. He truly treats me like a queen."

"WELL!" says Barbara, "I don't want to make any of you feel bad or anything, but wait until you hear about my Harry. Twice a week he pays someone $200 an hour just so he can lie on their couch and talk to them, and who do you think he speaks about at those prices?," asks Barbara with a big excited double chin smile. "I'll tell you who he speaks about! ALL HE SPEAKS ABOUT IS ME!"

testimonialWe're Delighted to Hear from Families About Our Exceptional Care!

A Satisfied Family's Review:

"We are so happy that we decided to use the services of the Visiting Angels. We were impressed with the care, compassion, and efficiency to help us through this challenging time with our mother. The caregivers you chose for us--Alvail, Jade, Nja, and Velianne--were absolutely wonderful, caring women. Caregivers, like these women, are not given enough credit for being in this highly needed profession. The are certainly 'Angels' to our loved ones and the family members as well. Our gratitude and appreciation to you all."

angelsAngels Who Soar: Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees

We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...

Joel J., a loyal Angel since 2014, has been doing an excellent job on a very unique and challenging assignment recently. He continually represents Visiting Angels very well with his professionalism and positive attitude!

Josephine B. is a newer Angel who has been with one of our clients since his first day of service in February. Josephine demonstrates calming patience with difficult situations. The family has recognized this and has remarked, "Josephine has the patience of a saint!" The family really appreciates Josephine and her help with their father.

Thank you, Joel and Josephine! We appreciate your hard work and diligent care of our clients.

AboutOurCareAbout Our Care

Visiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their families. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals , are ready to provide assistance with the activities of daily living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery, and to those who are simply frail. Our services include tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and shopping, to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Visiting Angels ' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue living at home safely. We understand how challenging the home care selection process can be. We're experienced in working with families, with loved ones resistant to receiving care, and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs).

Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenges of long-distance caregiving.
