Spotlight on Texans Credit Union
In 1953, 11 Texas Instruments employees pooled five dollars each and petitioned the Texas Banking Commission to establish an organization promoting thrift and providing low-cost loans to TI employees, which grew over the years into serving the entire State of Texas. At Texans, we are proud, strong, and determined. We walk with a swagger, unafraid to show our true character, and we believe a financial institution bold enough to call itself “Texans” should do the same. After more than 70 years, we continue working to help our staff and members reach their goals, pulling each other up by the bootstraps, and celebrating our accomplishments. It's made us who we are, and we are a determined bunch!
David Frazier, Texans' President & CEO, serves on the Chamber's Executive Committee as the Vice Chair of Budget & Finance.
