John 4:35 - “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.”
2018 Legacy of Hope Luncheon Update
Whether you have donated monetarily, volunteered your time, or most importantly--with you sharing your thoughtful prayers. YOU have played a major roll in helping us in transforming generations of families, youth, and children of East Dallas. Because of your efforts, we are reaching out daily and touching lives that God has placed before us.

Thank you for making the 2018 Legacy of Hope Luncheon a success. The initial results are pointing towards approximately $12,000 short of our original goal this year. We are still receiving financial gifts and will have a grand total in our November Newsletter. Until then, please remember what Frank Lott our COO said at the luncheon, "We aren't asking you to keep the lights on...we are asking you to invest in the future!"

There are so many that need to be thanked for participating, but let me highlight a few wonderful moments from the luncheon. We were honored with an inspiring invocation from Wil McCall, President of Dallas Leadership Foundation. We then were blessed by Courtney Starr's testimony, both in the new RO video and from the platform at the luncheon. Ms. Starr shared her heart and tears with us all. What a wonderful testament to the mission and purpose the After-School Program brings to the community. Our keynote speaker this year was the Honorable District Attorney, Faith Johnson. She delivered a powerful message of strength and encouraged us to keep working hard with God's purpose. We also want to thank Pastor Cameron Beaty of Peak Street Church for being our Master of Ceremonies. He was GREAT!

Please continue to help us be an even stronger, impactful blessing to our community in the coming year!
We'll have more pictures from the luncheon in our November Newsletter.

Thank you to ALL our Corporate Partners

"The Harvest is Ripe & RO is Ready"
The truth is we need YOU!

The message is simple and important, we need to share our faith because the fields are ripe for the harvest. This means we just need to be there to gather, to mentor, to love and most of all share Jesus.

As we operating in the Holy Spirit we get to see how powerful evangelism can become in our community. We get to set the foundation of Christ and introduce His character by sharing our faith with a child or family member from East Dallas.

More importantly, step out in faith and start using your gifts to be prepared for the harvest. In John 4:35 -“Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are ripe for harvest.” Remember God calls us not when we are totally ready but when He is ready to use us.  By being the hands and feet of Jesus learn through grace. This is why we believe in this statement "The Harvest is Ripe and RO is Ready!" Come and be a volunteer.....

If you are interested in volunteering please contact Brad Slimp via email [email protected]. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus.

NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY WAS A SUCCESS!
The North Texas Given Day was a success and RO wants to thank everyone who donated to us this year.

Our goal was $2000 and we raised $3092 from our social media pages alone. We are making this one of our major giving campaigns for 2019.

As we begin to plan for the new year the leadership team will be expanding our marketing campaign to reach even more people in the future. God Is Good All The Time, And All The Time God Is Good.

Please... Pray for Our Children
