What does Brampton's future look like to you?
Last month, we told you that we're developing a vision for Brampton's brilliant future. That we're thinking bigger about what Brampton can - and will - be in 5, 10, 25 years and beyond.
Since then, we've received hundreds of comments and ideas. People have been telling us what they love most about the city they call home. They've been honest about the things that need to change and shared ideas for what they feel would truly make Brampton a future ready city.

City Commits to University Investment Strategy
Brampton City Council has committed to an historic investment strategy towards a once-in-a-generation opportunity for a university and a centre for education, innovation and collaboration in Downtown Brampton. Council endorsed, in principle, a plan to invest up to $50M over 10 years into a post-secondary facility, and up to $100M into a joint-use community space. [more...]
Visit the new Harvest Market
As the Mount Pleasant Village and Downtown Brampton Farmers' Markets end their seasons, we are excited to announce a new market! The Harvest Market will feature all the bounty of the harvest season every Saturday, from October 14 to November 4, 8 am to 1 pm, on Main Street (Queen to Nelson Street). Keep our City Idle-Free
The idling of vehicles may seem harmless, however, excessive idling wastes fuel and money, and generates needless greenhouse gas emissions. If you are stopped for more than three minutes, except while in traffic, turn off your engine.
Fright Nights
