A Word to the MPBC Family in Our Time of Grief and Challenge

Beloved Church Family,

These are heavy days for our nation, our communities, and for our souls. We mourn together yet

again as tragedy and loss remind us of how fragile life is and how deep the wounds in our land.

Two recent events have stirred hearts, raised questions, and called us to respond....

We Welcome All New Members

We’re so excited to welcome those who have recently joined our church family! Our New Members Orientation is designed to help you get connected, learn more about our mission and ministries, and discover how you can grow in faith and service. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our leadership team, ask questions, and fellowship with others who are new to the church. We can’t wait to walk alongside you in this new chapter of your spiritual journey!

Black History Highlight

Harriet Tubman, known as the “Moses of her people,” led more than 70 enslaved individuals to freedom through the Underground Railroad. Risking her own life repeatedly, she displayed incredible courage and faith, relying on God’s guidance to direct her paths. Her resilience reminds us of the unshakable power of faith and the relentless pursuit of freedom. Tubman’s life was a testament to the fact that God sees, hears, and delivers His people.

Today, her legacy lives on through those who fight modern forms of injustice and human trafficking. Tubman’s story challenges us not to settle for comfort when others are still bound by chains of oppression. Her cry for liberation echoes the mission of the Church today: to set the captives free and to be voices of hope in a broken world.
