Head to Wonderland in Conway Library park, and enjoy a fantastical tea party followed by a friendly game of croquet with the Mad Hatter, the Red Queen, Alice, the White Rabbit, and MAYBE the Cheshire Cat (if you can find him). Wear your Saturday best, and please RSVP here
State Climatologist Dr. Mary Stampone Presents New Hampshire New Normal. October 7th at 7PM on Zoom
This program provides an overview of climate change in New Hampshire looking at recent past and possible future changes in temperature and precipitation as well as some context for interpreting changing weather patterns in a changing climate.

Dr. Mary Stampone is an Associate Professor of Geography at the University of New Hampshire where she teaches undergraduate courses on weather, climate, and natural hazards. As an applied climatologist her research focuses on monitoring and modeling variability and change in regional-scale climate system processes with an emphasis on hydro-climatic hazards (i.e. drought, flooding, severe weather). Dr. Stampone is also the State Climatologist for New Hampshire, providing citizens, educators, and government agencies with weather and climate information in support of environmental management and adaptation activities.

Ghosts and Legends With Jeff Belanger. October 21st at 7PM. In-Person Event. Library Meeting Room.
Come explore the haunts from around the world and those in your own back yard! Jeff Belanger brings different stories every time he offers this program, so no two are the same. This multi-media adventure draws from Jeff’s research in his books, podcasts, adventures, and the various television shows that he’s worked on. Join one of New England premiere storytellers for a trip through the unusual and the unexplained. There will also be a Q&A and book signing.

JEFF BELANGER is a storyteller, adventurer, journalist, and one of the most visible explorers of the unexplained today. The author of over a dozen books published in six languages, he is also the Emmy-nominated host, writer, and producer of the PBS and Amazon Prime series New England Legends and the weekly New England Legends podcast. He’s the writer and research for the Ghost Adventures series, and he’s been a guest on hundreds of television and radio networks and programs, including History, Travel Channel, Biography Channel, PBS, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR, BBC, and Coast to Coast AM.
