Your health and safety are our top priority! SIMNSA has partnered with NASSCO and Champions for Health to provide FREE COVID and Flu vaccines. Attached are the flyers with more information.

• It is open to the public, you do not need to be a SIMNSA member or a NASSCO employee, it will be held in a lot outside of the shipyard, therefore prior authorization to enter the premises is not required.
• SIMNSA will have a booth and will be present as well the day of the event with giveaways and or questions, if needed.
• We will have our own flu shots in-network within 2 weeks at our COVID Triage/Flu shot area at the Easy Park location for your convenience.

• COVID-19 Testing is available in network without an appointment, members may seek immediate care at our Atencion Inmediata (which is open 24 hours a day every day/ 7 days week.
• COVID19 testing out of network is a covered benefit but members risk incurring copay or cost sharing as treatment and/or follow ups out of network are subject to medical necessity
• Testing is not covered if its for purposes of employment: ie return to work, exposed at work (must submit to workers comp), or if employer requires testing for unvaccinated employees
• Average disability (incapacidad forms) are 10 days, however time frames will vary depending on the severity of symptoms and as deemed by the attending physician.
