Hello Kathy,
It’s Fall Y’all!
Although these warm days don’t feel much like Fall, the smell of pumpkin spice tells us otherwise. Also, the calendar is filling up with some great events ahead this time of year so be sure to read through this month’s newsletter to plan your weeks ahead.
We had a great mixer at Brick Barn Wine Estate in September, and we have another one lined up this month at the Hitching Post 2 Winery. We hope you can join us. Our hosts go above and beyond to welcome you to their establishments, so come learn more about these great businesses!
We continue to grow in our membership and we’re seeing interest in our Leadership Circle as well. If you want to learn more about this new tiered membership opportunity, please see the section below for more information. Thank you to ExxonMobil for coming in at the Silver Level. We appreciate your continued support.
We will be doing a ribbon cutting for Rock 12 Distillery on November 3rd from 5-7pm. This new distillery is located on Hwy 246 before you get to Foley Vineyard (address in the section below). They are new members, and we look forward to working with them.
The public is invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Industrial Eats Owner/Chef, Jeff Olsson. Jeff recently passed away and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. More details about this event can be found below in this month’s newsletter.
Some other great events not to miss are Figtoberfest – October 7th, the Vintner’s Festival, set for October 14th at Vega Vineyard and the Buellton Fall Fest makes its return to the Avenue for more family fun on November 10-12th. There are many more, so keep reading! Join us for a great fall season!

The Buellton Chamber welcomes new members throughout the year.
What does it mean to join the chamber?
Joining a chamber of commerce provides businesses with access to resources, discounts, and relationships that enable them to save money, market their products, and streamline their processes.
We have an active membership and we look forward to having you join us.
Membership for a business is $200 annually and $75 for a non-profit or individual.
If you are interested in learning more or becoming a member, please click below.

Leadership Circle
A new membership structure
| |
We have designed 5 new levels of membership that include a variety of benefits at each level. Rather than reaching out for sponsorship every time there is an event, we have developed ways for you to participate at every level. We feel this will streamline the process, save time, and provide you with the exposure you choose.
You will receive a letter with your invoice, when your membership comes due. This will list the levels of membership you can choose from. Just let us know what level fits your business. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions. We look forward to serving you in a more simplified way and hope you find a level that works for your business.
| |
Thank you ExxonMobil for signing up for the
SILVER LEVEL in our Leadership Circle.

Upcoming Events &
Other Community Happenings
| |
We mourn the loss of a true foodie pioneer. Jeff Olsson knew his way around the kitchen and worked his magic with New West Catering and Industrial Eats. We were fortunate enough to know him and proud to have him as a business owner in our Buellton community. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered as a master at his profession. | |
There will be a celebratory after party for Jeff at Industrial Eats. It will be Sunday, October 22nd from 4.00pm until 7.00pm or until they are done. The restaurant will be closed for regular service that day and the next so that staff and friends and family can equally look forward to what promises to be a very memorable day. There will be food and wine but please bring a bottle to share if you wish. The offers to contribute to the day have been coming in hard and fast from all of our friends in the food and wine industry and along with a giant taco truck, we think there will be delights provided by Chef and Vintner friends of Jeff's. You all know who you are and the Industrial eats team are all incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and love. Stay tuned to see what treats might be in store.
So please join them for a while to honor and remember this remarkable man.
There is much love from the Industrial Eats team and they hope to see you there.
