1 - Booster Club Membership

BE A PART OF THE TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM!

Thank you to all our families who have joined the Booster Club already this year and who have stepped up to volunteer to drive JV carpools, work concessions, and attend meets, games, and matches wearing your Bulldog spirit wear (available through our School Store online and in person at the School Store on Tuesdays & Thursdays during lunch 11 am - noon). You are what makes Churchill athletics amazing. If you haven't joined yet this school year, it's not too late!

Why join? Whether your student is an athlete, a fan, or participates in PE, the Booster Club fundraises through annual membership donations to provide important resources and support to help ensure a safe, competitive, spirited, and fun experience for all!

What is the Booster Club? The Booster Club is a fundraising organization of Bulldog families that works with the Athletic Department to ensure that our athletes have the necessary equipment and facilities to compete safely and at the highest possible level each year. The county provides Churchill with only a fraction of what it takes to support our sports teams. In a typical year, the athletics budget spent per athlete (per roster spot) at Churchill is around $220, yet the County’s contribution is less than $80. The Booster Club plays a critical role in providing supplemental resources to help offset this shortfall.

100% Booster Membership Teams:

Boys JV Soccer

Boys Varsity Soccer

Varsity Cheer

Can’t remember if you joined this year? Several more teams are getting close to 100% membership! Will it be your team? If you can’t remember if you joined the Booster Club already this year, ask your Team Booster Rep or send an email to our Membership Chairs, Claire Drummond and Aby Filomeno, and they will check for you! Help your team earn 10% of its membership dollars and $300 for achieving 100% team membership!

Your annual membership in the Booster Club will provide our student athletes and teams with critical resources.

7 - Concessions News

Have you been to a weekday game at Shepard Stadium recently? If so, you may have had a chance try one of our two new specialty items baked fresh by two locally owned businesses! At select games, we will be offering a limited supply of fresh, soft pretzels from The Pretzel Bakery and/or a selection of large, chewy cookies baked by The Bean Bag! Initial response has been overwhelming! We hope to be able to offer these more frequently once we move concessions indoors full-time for the winter sports season. But for now, we have some upcoming playoff soccer and football games in the stadium, so please come out and support our Fall season Dawgs and you might luck out and be able to purchase one of these new specialty items! Quantities are limited and they do sell out! Pretzels and cookies each sell for $3 (or get a pretzel with a side of hot queso for an extra $1).
