๐๐๐ค๐๐จ๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐ข๐ค๐ง๐๐๐ก ๐๐ค๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ held on September 13th was lauded as a huge success! โณ
Fun was had by all who attended and we are very happy to announce that over $25,000 was raised in support of The Douglas Jacobson Scholarship Foundation! The scholarship fund itself had already raised $17,500 so that's now a grand total of $42,500!
We couldn't have done this without the support from our members, so thank you for your donations and participation in such a worthy cause. ๐ Now, let's give out some scholarships!
The Business Credit Foundation is looking for member businesses to partner with as part of our scholarship program. The Foundation gives college juniors or seniors $1,000 scholarships and partners them with a local company for a semester paid internship. Member businesses who wish to participate can be located anywhere in the US, but preferably WA, AK or HI.

I was born in Lakewood, California, but grew up mostly in San Diego except for a year in Japan.

I'm quite a techie and data guy, so I really love to use my programming skills to reformat data, and I take pride in the quality of the data that NACM sends to Experian. Telecommuting three days a week is also a bonus for me!

A few things actually, I have my pilot's license for small aircraft and helicopters, I've been involved in several low-budget movies including as a cinematographer on First Man On Mars (2016), I like to cook, drive my 1966 MGB, and watch classic movies on TCM with my wife.

EXPERIAN 2.0 COMING THIS FALL |

Experian is launching two newly developed scores leveraging 2 best-in-class modeling techniques coming later this fall. |
|
So, what does this mean for you? Clients will receive access to two, newly upgraded, highly predictive risk scores that will help you more effectively reduce bad debt. This will be Experian's recommended default modeling approach for most clients.
Both scores have extended model projections from 12 to 24 months and range from 300-850. According to Experian, a wider score scale brings you more flexibility in setting cut-offs and developing more sophisticated risk strategies.
What should you do to prepare? For clients that access credit reports and risk scores in BusinessIQ Classic, the new scores will be available in our modernized BusinessIQ 2.0 platform. For all other clients, based on your product access, your score and platform migration date will be emailed to you 30 days prior to migration.
NACMBCS will provide updated information as we receive it and provide you help and support through this transition. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon!
