In September, We Are Oglesby worked together with the Oglesby Elks Lodge No.2360 and City of Oglesby Parks Department to secure a grant from the Illinois Elks Children's Care Corporation for a wheelchair swing in Memorial Park. This is going to be a great addition to the park!
Our 2nd Annual Scarecrow Harvest Contest runs the month of October. Help us decorate Oglesby for Harvest Fest! This year we have awards for best Scarecrow in all categories: business, club, family, individual, organization and school. Schools can signup by classroom or represent the whole school. More details are available below.
We are working on a revitalization project of planters throughout Oglesby in Spring of 2024. If you are interested in joining our efforts, please attend our next meeting or contact us. We understand that our meeting dates or time may not work with your schedule. However, you can still get involved. Send us an email.
