October Highlight: Following up with the 2022

Youth of the Year, Orlando Rider

In April of 2022, Orlando Rider took home the George Krupanski Jr. Delaware Youth of the Year trophy. After months of hard work and practice, he received the highest honor for our youth and went on to represent Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware at the regional Youth of the Year competition. Today, he remains an integral part of the Clarence Fraim Boys & Girls Club and is working towards a degree in criminal justice. Find out what else Orlando is up to in our latest blog post!

Program Feature: Updated Dover &

H. Fletcher Brown Teen Centers

Thanks to the generous support of

Dr. Axe and others, our Greater Dover and H. Fletcher Brown teen centers both benefited from a wonderful refresh! The centers received several upgrades including comfortable furniture, arcade games, and art. Teen members have been enjoying the updated facilities and games as they battle each other on their Ninja Turtles arcade game and use the new furniture to hang out and connect with one another!

Club Activity: Meet the Author & Illustrator Event

Our Georgetown Boys & Girls Club recently hosted a meet the author event for their new favorite book, Finding Chloe. Members were able to meet the characters in the book, ask questions about the plot, and offer suggestions for a sequel. Afterwards, each member took home a copy of the book and a new outlook on how to use their imagination!
