Barbara Dann, of Alleycat Quiltworks, returns to Sew Vac for a hands-on class using Studio 180 rulers and Michelle Renee Hiatt's Sparkle Quilt pattern!
In this 2 day class, you'll learn all about Studio 180's Trimmer,Corner Pop, and V-Block rulers. If you collect or love Fat Quarters, the Sparkle quilt is perfect for you! It makes fabulous use of Fat Quarters and is perfect for any color background. For the most sparkle, go with a high contrast between your background fabric and fat quarters.

If you’re a beginner or a seasoned serging sewist, this is the class for you. Lori has designed this class to take you through foundational techniques, creative projects and embellishing know-how. So many think sergers are just for cutting and finishing those edges. Sergers do that beautifully, but get ready to experience sew much more. Sergers and knits go together like cookies and milk (sorry, no cookies will be served). Let Pattie show you how easy it is to serge and hem knits with your serger. Choose between two fabulous tee patterns, Great Copy Savannah Tee, Soho Tunic or Pattie's new lounger pattern. Class will begin with measurements and try-on samples to help you select your correct size. Pattie will then help you with fitting and pattern adjustments. She will also show you how to easily cut, stabilize, serge and hem knit fabrics with your serger.
