SAVE THE DATE!
Don't miss out on the biggest and best gala yet! We will be celebrating 20 years in Kansas City and looking forward to the next 20 years!

We don't want anyone left out, so please reach out to any alumni, former families, etc. to make sure they know we want them to "Be our Guest" at the 13th annual CYT KC Gala!

And because we are a theater group, we are all about the costumes! Come dressed as your favorite character from any CYT show!

Books will be collected at South & West Rehearsal locations, as well as the CYT office.
Drop off your books Oct. 1st - Oct. 25th.

BLACK BOX AUDITIONS
We are so excited for the opportunity to produce You Can’t Take it With You this Winter! An eccentric family allows each member to pursue his own ambition in the home, but their routine is disrupted when a daughter with a regular job wants to bring her fiancé and his Wall Street family to dinner in George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's Pulitzer Prizewinning comedy.

The Winter Black Box will rehearse on Thursdays at our West location.

October is Down syndrome awareness month!

CYT has been providing amazing opportunities for all students since 2000. We believe all children deserve to experience the gifts that theatre can provide to their lives.

How do we raise awareness, promote acceptance and help change perspectives of disability through the HEART program at CYT?

We invite and welcome children of all abilities to enroll in our camps, classes and to audition for our shows!

We believe that our inclusive environment provides the foundation where all students feel a sense of belonging. We have high expectations of all students to help them feel accepted, respected and encouraged to learn alongside their peers and to grow in their abilities.

Inclusion is a gift that helps us all feel inspired to become our very best and an opportunity to educate and promote awareness of disability as we become advocates and leaders in our communities.

Learning, growing and living life on stage beside their peers, students with developmental disabilities learn life long lessons and all students feel accepted and included.

Help support Inclusion and learn more about Down syndrome:
