Hey you, Superstar club in the making. Step a little closer so you can hear me. Are you interested in a once in lifetime opportunity? I thought you would be. Here is your chance to become a Distinguished or better club, with a few easy steps. Come in a little closer, I don’t mean any harm.
First thing you do is get at minimum 5 members to commit to achieving a communication or leadership award. Five members can commit now to achieving at least one Pathways award, or a Traditional program award by the end of our program year. Don’t forget the Traditional Education program ends June 30, 2020.
Secondly, make sure your meeting dates and times are published a few months in advance so that members and guests can find you (If they can’t find you, they won’t come). Also don’t cancel meetings if the going gets tough. If you have a least three members present divide the roles and proceed with your speaking program.
Third, have one open house per quarter or each season spring, summer, fall and winter. If your club has low numbers (12 or fewer) consider requesting a club coach. Club coaches become members of your clubs family and can offer ideas and insights to help your club succeed. Clubs need at minimum three officers to exist, a President, Secretary and one Vice President. These positions are mandatory for club central access.
Lastly, submit your dues renewals timely and process new member applications as soon as humanly possible. Any club can take these steps and reach Distinguished status or better. Are you up for the challenge? I believe you are, you look like the type! Success is definitely good for you.
