WE ARE COLLECTING SHOES AT
HILLSIDE'S SECOND SUNDAY SERVICE, THIS SUNDAY
OCTOBER 11TH AT 5:00 PM

Info on the Shoe Donation Drive for Ollie -

Ollie is a 5 year old boy who lives in Woodstock. He is autistic and is in need of a service dog. Through a partnership with Shoes with Heart, his mother is asking the community to help her collect 2,500 pairs of shoes. Shoes with Heart will make a donation toward the purchase of the service dog based on the weight of the shoes collected, and then the shoes are sent to small business owners in developing nations to boost local commerce.

The donated shoes can be all shapes, colors, and sizes - men's, women's, children's, and baby shoes are all wanted. The shoes must still be usable and in good condition - not wet, no mold, or holes in the soles, etc. Please keep the matching shoes together in a pair - please use a rubber band if possible or, if they have laces, please tie them together. If you can't attach them to each other, it's fine - just try your best!

Women of Hillside can also work with you to come by your home and pick up the donated shoes from you! Please email [email protected] or private message us over Facebook to set-up an appointment for us to pick up.

For more info on Shoes with Heart fundraisers, please check out their website.
The Women of Hillside's display for the scarecrow invasion in downtown Woodstock is located near the corner of Main Street and Towne Lake Parkway. Please send us your pictures if you stop by to visit our scarecrows!

If you notice that the display needs repairs (this is our first year making a scarecrow display and we are learning a lot about weatherproofing), please email us or send us a private message on Facebook!
VENDORS NEEDED FOR OUR VIRTUAL HOLIDAY MARKET - Deadline for Vendors to Register is Ocrober 26th

The Women of Hillside are reviving our fundraising engine this year with the first annual Hillside Holiday Market, November 9-15! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event will be held online.

To get started, we need vendors! We are looking for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and consultants who would like to participate.

For a $30 flat fee, a vendor in the Holiday Market will receive:

(1) One introductory post/givewaay the week before the sale
(2) Time slots to post for-sale items and/or go "live" during the sale
(3) The opportunity to build your client base!

The flat fee paid by the vendors will help the Women of Hillside support our local community, including our efforts to support childcare for mothers of pre-schoolers, scholarships for women to attend ministry events, and the purchasing of Bibles for middle school students.

For more information on the Holiday Market and becoming a vendor, please email us.
