AVALANCHE IN ACTION
This month, the Avalanche team attended IEDC's Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA. Our first client brunch generated lively discussion about the future of our profession. The conference also gave Amy an opportunity to share our insights on collaborative communities in an ED Talk called "The Power of Partnerships." (A video of her ED Talk will be available soon.) We had a fantastic time and look forward to next years conference!

Next, Noelle and John traveled to Upstate New York to work with the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes on a new Quality of Life Measurement Tool for the region. During the trip, we celebrated the season by blowing glass pumpkins at the Corning Museum of Glass. We also met the Foundation's purrfectly gracious mascot, Penny Lane the "Philanthrocat."

Georgia has been on our minds a lot lately. In mid-October, Chris shared our workforce strategy for Greater Columbus GA Chamber at an energized community summit. Last week, he returned to the region to unveil the new talent portal that Avalanche and Headlight Data created as part of the Three Rivers West Georgia region's HDCI grant.

Finally, we ended the month at the fabulous Win ED Conference in Santa Fe, NM, where Noelle moderated a panel discussion on creative workforce solutions. Congrats to Annie Gregson for another stellar event!
