OUR TRAVEL JOURNAL
Doug Cherry & Marcia Sharma
Tour of the Canadian Capital Cities

Hi Chynell, we had a great trip and Tauck was as first class as you and others had told us. We thought it would be that way from the first when a very professional driver was waiting for us at the Toronto airport and updated us on the number of people on the tour and our tour director, on the ride to the hotel.

The Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto was a unique venue for our welcome reception and dinner. The food and set up was all very nice. Our first impression/reaction was that we think we will really like the smaller tour group. The other members of our group are well traveled and after the first nights’ reception/dinner everyone was comfortable with everyone else.
There were a number of highlights for us, including finding a restaurant with authentic Greek food for lunch during our stop at Niagara on the Lake; the tour of the Parliament Building in Ottawa (great City by the way) with a fantastic local guide and seeing the changing of the guard on the grounds before we left; great walking tour of Montreal with a few stops to sample local food, and later Marcia and I went to the underground part of the City. It was very impressive that stores, restaurants, banks and just about everything can be reached without going outside, including a Tim Horton’s! We should also mention that as a group we went to a really nice restaurant (Bonaparte) in Old Montreal. There were also many other stops, meals, visits that we enjoyed.

Lenny, we had a fantastic time on Royal Caribbean’s “Jewel of the Seas” on our 7 night Greek Island Cruise. We had 11 people, from age 13-76 and this cruise was perfect for teenagers and adults. Our excursions were outstanding and all of the transportation logistics for our large group went smoothly. All the kids are anxious to plan their next cruise! Thanks for planning this for us!

Cruise on the
Scenic Jasper from Budapest to Amsterdam

After our river cruise on the Scenic Jasper from Budapest to Amsterdam in 2017, we could not imagine that any cruise would be as good. We were proven wrong. Our cruise on the Scenic Jewel in August, 2018 was every bit as good, maybe even better. From the moment we were picked up at home by Pro Limo to our return, everything was perfect. We were even able to overcome the low water level on the rivers with only a minor adjustment to our itinerary. We hardly realized the interruption.
Every port of call was magnificent. Words cannot describe the beauty that can be seen in the villages, the towns, and the cities along the rivers in Europe. And the history!!! What set this particular cruise apart was the amount of time we had sailing during daytime hours where we were able to take in the beauty along the rivers from our ship's sun deck and even from our veranda.

Scenic provides an unforgettable experience. The selection of tours and activities are top-notch. Every crew member ensures that your cruise is the best ever. EVERYTHING is taken care of!

Many thanks to our agent, Brad Baldwin, who takes care of every detail of our vacations. He takes all the stress out of the planning process and leaves the fun to us. Now to focus on our next adventure.

Elf the Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner Elf.

This musical is based on the events surrounding the drafting and the signing of the Declaration of Independence…if only our founding fathers can agree to it!
John Adams teams up with Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson to battle those in Congress that oppose the movement to separate from England. Join in the funny, insightful, and compelling journey to pass the resolution that frees America from British tyranny.
COMMENTS FROM OUR CLIENTS
Our travel consultant Paulette Mclin helped us go on the cruise of a lifetime! We had a party of 6 from different cities and all plans went smoothly to provide the whole party with a tremendous and enjoyable experience. The food, service and accommodations were excellent and all 6 in our party were able to enjoy the cruise and Alaska excursions tailored to each one’s different needs and wishes! Thanks to Paulette McLin and all who helped us take this wonderful trip with family to enjoy the cruise and Alaska experience! We hit the love button for Paulette ️!

Oceania is a great value in cruising. Fabulous food and wonderful service. This was my 2nd cruise with Oceania but it will not be my last. In our 30yrs of traveling I have never experienced the wonderful service that Lenny as our agent has given. Most agents book and then no follow-ups. Lenny has been exceptional. Planning on using Lenny again next year.

Working with Chynell was wonderful and I'm looking forward to working with her on future projects. The areas in which I was dissatisfied have nothing to do with Holiday Cruises & Tours or Chynell. The itinerary was great but I didn't like the Freedom of the Seas as much as I like some of the previous RC ships that I've been on.

Brad Baldwin, this place is awesome! We are having the best time. The mountain wasn’t out today but we saw 8 grizzly bears and a bunch of others. Sitting down for dinner at Appenglow/Grand Denali. Looking forward to the train tomorrow. Thanks!
