Job Opportunity
The library currently has openings for 2 part-time Library Clerk positions.

KZMU Audio Book Club
We will be on air with Back of Beyond Books at 5pm on Monday, October 7 for KZMU's monthly Audio Book Club. This month will include two exciting author interviews! Tune in to listen to our discussions with Jack Loeffler and Rebecca Lawton.

Musical Story Time

Mark your calendars! October's Musical Story Hour will feature the didgeridoo, presented by Kevin Fitzgerald & Friends. Come travel with us to Australia to learn about this Aboriginal instrument and the Australian folktales it can help us tell.
As always, Musical Story Time is FREE, and suitable for newborns through early elementary students. Please plan on joining us for live music, stories, and a music themed craft. Presented in partnership with Moab Music Festival.
Moab Poets & Writers Open Mic

Historic River Films with Roy Webb

Join us for an evening of historic river films with archivist Roy Webb, who was key to the development of the Utah River Running Archives at the University of Utah's Marriott Library. The evening will feature Charles Eggert's "Wilderness River Trail" followed by a selection of other historic river running films from the collections of the Utah River Running Archives.

Kids Cafe @ Your Library

Volunteers Needed to Support Kids Cafe!
Kids Cafe volunteers will partner with library staff and spend approximately 1.5 hours (3:15 - 4:45 PM) per day setting up, serving, and cleaning up. We would prefer volunteers who can make at least a three-month, one-day-per-week time commitment to the program. Volunteers need to be willing to complete a background check. Volunteers will not be preparing any food and a food handlers permit is NOT required.
