The 4th Annual Bingo Bash

Our 4th Annual Bingo Bash was an incredible success once again! Thank you to all that made this sold-out event such a fruitful and fun-filled evening including our amazing event chairs, Tracy and Phil Jones, fabulous auction chair, Stacie Williamson and committee.

Nearly 300 guests gathered and dressed in their unique table attire to support the Avondale House mission and enjoy a fabulous evening of Bingo, led by Briana Conner and Adam Winkler of ABC13. Attendees took home amazing auction items, participated in a raffle and wine pull, and won exciting door prizes throughout the night.

We are delighted to announce that the event raised over $170,000 towards the expansion of our services, further allowing us to provide individuals with autism the resources, education and training to develop to their fullest potential. Thank you to all who contributed to make this possible.

We already can't wait for the 5th Annual Bingo Bash!

Congratulations to Brunel for being the TWO-TIME Best Dressed award winners!

Meet one of our amazing cyclists, Matt!

Matt is Team Avondale House's top fundraiser, and is participating in the 50-mile ride this weekend. We are so grateful to Matt for his support of Avondale House and individuals with autism. Wish him luck on his journey to the beach!

  • What is your "why" for participating in Bike to the Beach?

"Multiple reasons: It is a worthy cause. It's an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those with autism. It is a personal challenge that pushes me to improve my fitness, endurance, and cycling skills. It helps raise awareness about autism and promote acceptance, understanding, and inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum. Also, I hope to inspire others to get involved in charitable activities and make a positive impact in their communities."

  • How many years have you participated in the ride?

"I’ve ridden Bike to the Beach Texas for the last five years. I rode 100 miles the first three years and the last two I rode the 50 mile course. This is my first time riding with the Avondale House team and I’m having a great experience even before the ride. The team is well organized and very supportive and allows me to help out whenever I can. We’ve had multiple preparation rides and we ride at a pace which allows us to stay together. It’s been wonderful!"

  • What is your motivation behind riding for Team Avondale House?

"I have two friends who have children with autism, one of whom got me involved in this worthwhile charity. I see what’s happening at Avondale House and the tireless work of everyone there and I see the impact on the individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families. I see all this and I have to help. I can’t just watch…and I’ll be riding to support them as long as I can."

Thank you so much, Matt for your dedication to this ride.
