Rhonda Musak, Acting Coach
As an acting coach, I help actors unlock the magic in their acting.

I cannot speak highly enough about Rhonda. Before working with Rhonda I was struggling with my confidence as an actor. She knows exactly what I need to focus on when I'm tripping myself up so I can get out of my own way.

As fall kicks off and we say goodbye to glorious summer (though, not yet, summer weather!), I am reminded that all good things must come to an end.
This is true for my Book Club for Actors.
I am officially announcing the FINAL Book Club for Actors.
As we embark on our 39th and last playwright (see below), I remember back to November 2010 and the kickoff of the first Book Club for Actors which focused on the works of Arthur Miller.
Since then, the book club has grown and changed and morphed in wonderful ways. And now, over 200 plays later, my heart fills with gratitude as I think about every actor who has attended a meeting, prepared their reading and shown up ready to discuss.
THANK YOU sooo very much for sharing your thoughts, for articulating your viewpoint and for endless compelling conversation!
I hear some of you saying, but Rhonda, NO! What?!?! Why??? Simply, it's time for me to call this complete so I have room and space to create and open new doors as an acting teacher & coach.
And maybe some of you are saying, but I've always wanted to attend but haven't and now it's ending! Well, there's one last time to jump on this merry-go-round as we gather at the end of November/beginning of December for two last meetings.
Full details for the FINAL Book Club for Actors is below. Let's finish this thing right!

Delve deeper into the craft and business of acting with articles that break it all down and build you up.
Line memorization plays a bigger role than you might think in terms of becomming a better actor. Learn your lines well and up your game!
Why Doesn't Anybody Talk About the Importance of Line Memorization?
by Rhonda Musak
Line memorization in terms of acting technique does not
get a lot of play. Thinking about the myriad of acting books that I have read, I cannot recall it ever having been mentioned. Maybe that's because everybody figures you just have to memorize the lines in order to do scripted work-plain and simple...get 'er done.
But behind the scenes I hear a slightly different story as a
coach. Many actors are actually greatly challenged by memorizing lines
