Fall VegFest Highlights

We would like to thank everyone who attended our 6th Annual Fall VegFest in downtown Farmington! It was inspiring to see so many people enjoying plant-based foods, supporting local businesses, and enjoying each other's company. We would also like to thank our sponsors, members, vendors, and volunteers for coming together to make this a free event! Not only is it a fun day for the vegan community, but the event also attracts a lot of people who are new to plant-based eating and helps grow the plant-based movement. Lastly, we would like to thank the 40 individuals who joined or renewed their membership at VegFest! If you would like to support the growth of the plant-based movement in Michigan, please become a member. Annual memberships start at only $20.

Growing the Plant-Based Community in Michigan

In addition to all the fun events that we host for our supporters, we spend the majority of our time and resources connecting with individuals who are not vegan. The feedback we receive from individuals who have never tried plant-based food is amazing; they love it! We will give away $40,000 in free vegan food and educational materials this year! At a recent event where we were giving out our pledge bags full of popular plant-based items, a participant told us, "I absolutely love this 30-Day Pledge. Being able to try out these vegan products made me realize how truly good they are. I will now be purchasing these products..." - Rachel from Ann Arbor

At a recent U of M football game, we gave out a lot of free vegan pizzas and literature

Please Take Our Equity & Justice Survey

VegMichigan is always interested in what our supporters have to say. We want to hear your feedback about equity and justice in our movement. Our new Anti-Racism Committee (ARC) developed a short survey to get your feedback. Please click the button below.
