Family Caregiver Program

More than 65 million Americans - nearly one in three, are caregivers. Many of these people know that providing care for a friend or loved one can be challenging. Our Family Caregiver Program exists to help lighten the load for caregivers and prevent burnout.

Over 75% of caregivers are female, with an average age of 49 years old. These female caregivers may spend as much as 50% more time providing care than males. Generally, caregivers balance working full-time with more than 20 hours of caregiving per week.

The Family Caregiver Program exists to serve caregivers, no matter their age.

The program provides:

  • Information and Assistance
  • Support Groups
  • Temporary Respite Care
  • Supplemental Services

Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)

Earlier this month our PACE Participants enjoyed a trip to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. Activities like this seemed almost impossible before they found PACE. Thanks to the person-centered care provided by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDTeam), our Participants are able to get out and socialize in the community.
