• All Hallows Eve is October 28! Come on down to Gateway Park at 5pm on Saturday, October 28th for fun, games, and so much candy! This is a free community event, but we encourage you to bring a can of your favorite soup that will be donated to the Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank! • It's budget time! Key Pen Parks will be discussing our 2024 parks budget during the October and November Board of Commissioners Meetings. Come down to the Home Fire Station to hear our proposal and participate in the discussion (during public comment). Find out more at www.keypenparks.com/governance.

Everyone welcome (including kids)! Bring clothes for the weather and binoculars if you have them (extras available). Join Chris Rurik, the KP Nature Guide, each month for a bird walk around Gateway Park’s hidden beaver pond and back woods. Learn about incredible birds and hope for the thrill of finding a rarity. All skill levels welcome. Expect to walk 1-2 miles on uneven terrain.
