Hello Midway Art,

Thank you and Happy Holidays!

As we close out 2024 and welcome the new year, we want to thank our members, friends and visitors for joining us this year in our journey of supporting the arts in Wasatch County! We have been busy planning our events for 2025 including an exciting lineup for our monthly meeting demonstrations, painting workshops, the 18th annual Wasatch Plein Air Paradise painting competition, the Fall Plein Air Utah retreat and our scholarship efforts. We hope to see you again in the new year!

November Meeting

Thanks to Natalie Shupe for joining us at the November meeting and creating this beautiful painting. Natalie shared with MAA artists her relatable art journey, explaining and demonstrating the tips and techniques she has found to be most helpful in her painting career. 

Paint the Town!

MAA was pleased to join with the Midway Historic Building Preservation Committee to create paintings of many of Midway’s historic buildings. The paintings are now on display at the MAA Gallery through the end of the year. Stop by the Gallery for a look at these special paintings!

Meeting Demo Lineup for 2025!

We have an excellent lineup of guest artists who will be demonstrating at our monthly meetings in 2025. Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Some meetings will be available by Zoom, while some will be in person. Everyone is welcome to attend. Details will be sent out in the newsletter prior to each meeting.
