The Water Education Water Awareness Committee is committed to helping teachers educate students on the importance of water conservation.
WEWAC is awarding up to
$1,000 to teachers who would like to bring water conservation to their classrooms in creative water-related projects, activities or field trips.
Projects must specifically focus on drinking water issues. They may involve sources of water, environmental issues, water treatment, water quality, water conservation, political or government issues, etc.
Past EduBuck winning projects have included rain barrels, an aquifer lab, drought tolerant gardens, and class trips to the Chino Water Basin Conservation District.
- All submissions are due on OCTOBER 31, 2019 by 5:00pm
- Field trips must be booked or supplies purchases and ready to be implemented by February 21, 2020
- A final report is due by May 1, 2020
