Fall Classes have begun, but there’s still time to register for sessions starting later this month, including monotype printmaking & relief printmaking & relief printmaking. We are also excited to partner with INNOADDI to bring the art of 3D printing classes to MCA.

Kids Create

Check out the Friday afternoon Art Adventures Club (choose one, two, or all three classes), and in November, a Collaborative Playmaking Weekend Workshop for youth in grades 3-6.

It has been an amazing process to watch some huge pieces of ductwork be removed from hallways and studios this month!

Be on the lookout as you are paying your bill for a yummy treat at Revival Café in Lexington Center, and the chance to "round up" in support of MCA.

Bikeway Block Party

Another successful event with hundreds of visitors, dozens of performers, and opportunities at each park to create some art. Check out our Letter to the Editor in the recent LexObserver, that celebrates all the volunteers and staff who made this day possible.

MCA is now partnering with Art Pharmacy - founded in 2022 to address the dual mental health and loneliness crises by connecting members with non-clinical, community-based activities, such arts and culture engagements in their communities that can support their health and well-being. FAQs online

MCA is seeking a part-time Registrar to be part of our collaborative, creative team.

Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, with a goal of onboarding the beginning of October.

Upcoming: 10 hr/wk Office Manager position being developed now, with more information in the coming month! Email us if you want to hear more.

Calling for Volunteers

We need YOU! This fall we need volunteers to tend to the garden, sort art supplies, coordinate artist networking events and workshops, and so much more!

These hours can be logged for student community service and VO250 too!
