Swag Bag Lunch Party

October 23rd, 11AM — 2PM

Everyone's Invited to Help!

Join us in community as we pack 500 swag bags which volunteers will deliver to folks who book school visits at AISLE Conference storytellers' luncheon.

RSVP Catherine Velasco, ARA by October 21st that you will attend + any dietary restrictions. If you have severe allergies, please bring supplemental food.

11-2PM. Lunch provided. Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook. Free parking.

SCBWI-IL #ReadLOCALIllinois Presentation at AISLE Conference

Jen Wagh, Co-RA and other Illinois leadership volunteers will present Illinois' NEW FALL BOOKS to teachers and librarians attending AISLE.

BOTH PAL + INDIE books from the FALL SEASON'S CROP that is published in our fall bulletin, The Prairie Wind, will be presented.

Not attending AISLE? No problem! We want to promote you to school library educators regardless! Send your swag by Oct. 17th and/or donate some time on October 23rd.

The Charlotte and Wilbur Award for Compassion for Animals will award one winning book and one honor book for their dedication to promoting compassion and respect for animals in their readers.

This award will open on October 15th, 2024.
