ARTHUR JOINS MAIN STREET ALABAMA ADVISORY BOARD

  Government & Economic Development Institute (GEDI) Director, Jeremy Arthur, recently joined the advisory board of Main Street Alabama. A nonprofit organization, Main Street Alabama stresses public-private partnerships, broad community engagement, and strategies that create jobs, spark new investment, attract visitors, and spur growth. "I’m honored to join the Main Street Alabama Advisory Board. We kicked off our first planning meeting with great friends and colleagues from across the great State of Alabama. Our goal is focused on bringing jobs, dollars, and people back to Alabama's historic communities to revitalize downtowns and neighborhoods across the state", Arthur said.

DANIELLE ROGERS JOINS GEDI

  Danielle Rogers recently joined the Government and Economic Development Institute staff as a Human Resources Specialist. Danielle said, “I am thrilled to be given this opportunity and look forward to contributing to various counties across the state.” Danielle graduated cum laude from Auburn University in May of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. She plans to further her education by obtaining her master’s degree within the next few years. She is originally from Wetumpka, but currently resides in Auburn. Danielle loves to attend Auburn football games to cheer on the Tigers. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, Danielle enjoys playing golf at the wonderful golf courses in the Auburn area.
