All In All Pink breast cancer and general health awareness logo

All In, All Pink – Breast Cancer Awareness Event

To promote breast cancer and general health awareness, the Vice President for University Outreach, in collaboration with the Office of Public Service, will host the 13th annual All In, All Pink event on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on the AU Student Center Green Space.


This meaningful event supports and recognizes breast cancer survivors and includes:

  • Free health screenings
  • Free t-shirts
  • Guest performances by the AU Gospel Choir, AU Mosaic Theater, and Aubie
  • Giveaways, free food, and a group photo at closing


All students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to attend and show their support for breast cancer awareness and wellness.

Clearing the Path: Advancing Women
in Alabama’s Workforce

Auburn University Outreach team members recently attended the Women’s Foundation of Alabama’s Clearing the Path event held in Auburn. The program focused on strengthening opportunities for women in the workforce and highlighted best practices and innovative programs making a difference across Alabama.


Panelists included Hollie Campbell Cost from Auburn Outreach, Raven Harvis of H&S Commercial & Industrial Services, Anna Hovey of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, and Eric Sewell from Southern Union State Community College. Their insights sparked meaningful conversations around workforce challenges and solutions.

OLLI artists shine at Jan Dempsey Exhibition

OLLI at Auburn artist's work exhibited at the Jan Dempsey Arts Center

Several members of OLLI at Auburn are featured in the current exhibition at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center—a vibrant showcase of creativity and talent.

Celebrating 5 years of global connections and cultural exchange: SAVE THE DATE for the 2026 Global Community Day Festival


On Saturday, March 28, 2026, join AU Outreach Global at the Opelika Amphitheater (1001 SportsPlex Parkway, Opelika, AL 36801) from 9:30am to 3:00pm for a day filled with cultural exchange and international experiences. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public! 


The 2026 Global Community Day Festival will draw in international and domestic communities from Auburn, Opelika, and the surrounding areas to experience a day dedicated to intercultural education. Activities throughout the day will include the Parade of the Flags, the Vendor Trade Fair, the Global Attire Showcase, musical performances, dance demonstrations, international food trucks, arts and crafts, sports, and games. 


Over the past five years, the festival has grown into a beloved community tradition, bringing people together and creating opportunities to learn from one another. The festival provides a space for community members, student groups, clubs and organizations, as well as governmental and trade groups, to engage with one another and embrace the many unique cultures represented within our community.


If you are interested in having a booth at the festival, performing a talent, participating in the Parade of the Flags or Global Attire Showcase (cultural fashion show), or sharing your culture in some other way, please contact Olivia Houlden (oph0007@auburn.edu, 334-844-5787).
