Graduating High School Early? You Can Still Keep Your Panola Promise!
Did you know that students who complete high school ahead of schedule can still enjoy all the benefits of the Panola College Promise Program? Graduating early is an exciting achievement—and the Promise Program is designed to make sure your hard work pays off.
Stay on Track for Free Tuition & Fees
Students who choose to graduate early remain eligible for the Promise Program’s scholarship, which covers tuition and fees up to 66 credit hours or six consecutive 16-week terms. Whether you graduate in December or an entire year ahead of schedule, you can still attend Panola College tuition- and fee-free if you meet the program requirements
Key Steps for Early Graduates
To maintain eligibility, early graduates must:
- Live in Panola or Shelby County throughout their participation.
- Complete mandated volunteer service hours and submit the verification form:
- December Graduates: Hours and verification must be submitted before the early graduation date.
- May Graduates (a full year early): Must complete both their junior-year and senior-year 25 service hours—50 hours total—during their junior year.
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher in high school.
- Apply to Panola College and be accepted
- Submit the FAFSA and Panola College general scholarship application by March 31 of the graduation year.
- Enroll at Panola College in the first 16-week semester following high school graduation
