Peter Paul News - October 2023

Lights On Afterschool

The Afterschool Alliance reports that 7.6 million children are alone and unsupervised after school. Afterschool programs help keep kids safe and inspire them to learn, while aiding working parents with afterschool care.

On October 26th, Peter Paul held our Lights On Afterschool program. From meals to movement, music, and education, our Peter Paul parents got a taste of our After School Academy program by being hands-on in the classroom and working with their child and their teachers.

Parents were introduced to Peter Paul staff, teachers, and administration, and they received a formal introduction to our new CEO, Corey Taylor. Each classroom was full of smiles and excitement. Many of our parents raved about the great time they had and how grateful they are for the programming at Peter Paul.

We are thankful for our education team, our parents, partners, and our students for a wonderful night.

Indulge yourself in everything Peter Paul by joining us for a Lunch and Learn. Come hear our origin story and learn about our founder, John Coleman. You'll get a deeper look at his vision and how Peter Paul has grown into a pillar of the East End community.

Each Lunch and Learn provides a tour of the Coleman Promise Center and a lunch discussion with our staff about the future of Peter Paul.

We hope you will join us!
