Versiti Blood Center Partners with Pink Ribbon Connection

October 6th - October 12th

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana supplies blood services, blood products and specialty services to more than 80 hospitals across the state and collects more than 130,000 units of blood annually. For every donation made between Oct. 6-12 in their centers, Versiti will make a monetary donation to Pink Ribbon Connection.

Pink Ribbon Connection will be hosting an information table at the vineyard on Saturday, October 19th and Saturday, October 26th. We will need volunteers to represent our table.

Dr. Jason Cacioppo, from Community Physician Network, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, will join us to answer questions and share accurate and current information regarding breast reconstruction.

This will be a circle of survivors sharing their experiences to support and nurture other survivors in their journey. Therefore it is important that both groups of survivors are represented at this gathering:

• Women who have already had their reconstruction
• Women who are still exploring options regarding reconstruction.

Donate Your Car

Pink Ribbon Connection now accepts your donated vehicle! Just call our office at 317-255-7465 and let us know you want to donate your car to Pink Ribbon Connection. We will then call our towing partner, Hanna's Wrecker Service, and a representative will call you and make an appointment to pick up your car. They will come, with identification, at your convenience, to tow the car to their lot. They hold regular car auctions and will auction off the car, with the proceeds donated to Pink Ribbon Connection.

You will receive a tax receipt for the amount your car sells for at the auction. The receipt will be mailed to you by Pink Ribbon Connection. Every cent of the money stays right here in Central Indiana to assist breast cancer patients and their families with support, resources and information.
