The Friends' Art from the Attic Sale!

The Friends of the Mystic & Noank Library are cleaning out the attic to make room for the return of the Whiffenpoofs who will be performing for an upcoming fundraiser. All artwork will be on display and for sale in the Ames Room during the month of October. The art, mostly wall art, will be on sale for $10 - $20. If you see something you like, you can take it off the wall, pay the staff at the desk, and take it home that day. We hope that all of the pieces will find good homes by the end of the month!
We Need Your Help!
The Friends are looking for some history/provenance on a piece of trench art of an attack submarine that was donated to the library. It is made of M16 shells soldered together and painted gold in color. If you were the one who donated this item, please contact Dave or Sandie at Please put "Trench Art" in the subject line.
