Vote NO on Prop 30

The SVC Chamber recommends you VOTE NO on Proposition 30.

Sometimes political propaganda and doublespeak can trick you into supporting a ballot issue that you might really be against. That might just be the case here. The marketing spin in favor of Prop 30 will have you believe it is a clean air initiative to benefit all Californians. In fact, it is really a special interest tax grab. Even though our state has a plentiful $100B budget surplus, this ballot initiative increases income tax on many Californians by an additional 1.75%. Our economy has taken enough of a beating.

Silicon Valley Connect is the most down-to-earth, no pressure, no stress people-focused event that the SVC Chamber hosts. Repeated several times per year at various locations across the Valley, this is a "networking-style" event with a festive happy-hour feel.
