Spooktacular Trick or Treat Night!

Get ready for a frightfully fun evening in the heart of Fremont. On Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 p.m., the Downtown Event Center & Plaza will once again transform into a Halloween haven for families. Wear your best costume and enjoy a night filled with festive activities and plenty of spook-tacular fun.

This is a Halloween celebration you won’t want to miss! Trick-or-Treat pre-sale tickets are sold out. Stay tuned for more details on the day-of activities.

Isherwood Park Temporary Closure

On Monday, November 3, 2025, Isherwood Park, located at Isherwood Way and Quarry Lakes Drive, will be temporarily closed to all visitors for park improvements and maintenance. The work will include vegetation removal and environmental remediation. The goal of this work is to improve fire safety, protect local waterways, and enhance accessibility for all visitors.

Park improvements and maintenance are expected to take place throughout the winter, after a full park closure on Friday, November 14, 2025. The closure will be conducted in a phased approach, closely coordinating with the relocation support being offered to those currently residing in the park. 

Olive Hyde Art Gallery: Holiday for the Arts

The City of Fremont and the Olive Hyde Art Guild are delighted to present the 41st Annual Holiday for the Arts Show & Sale at the Olive Hyde Art Gallery! This long-standing fundraiser, hosted by the Olive Hyde Art Guild, showcases a wide variety of artwork from local artists. Proceeds from ticket and art sales support visual arts programs in schools and the community.

Kick off the celebration at the Gala on Friday, October 17 from 5:30–9:00 PM with an evening of art, food, drinks, and live music. Tickets are $20.

Continue the festivities at the Show & Sale on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19 from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. Admission to the Show & Sale is free and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping while supporting local artists!

Recreation Commission Meeting
