MENOPAUSE AWARENESS MONTH
October 18 is also World Menopause Day. While there are stages of menopause, the term menopause is often used to describe the entire time frame of midlife changes. OCT 29: WORLD PSORIASIS DAY

SWHR Releases Bone Health Fact Sheet
Women are more prone to developing osteoporosis, the most common form of bone disease and the major cause of fractures in postmenopausal women and older men.
Released at the end of Healthy Aging Month in September, the new fact sheet, Women’s Bone Health: The Importance of Caring for Your Bones Early and Often, highlights the important steps women can take to improve and maintain their bone health and to prevent secondary fracture – and the health care costs of not investing in bone health.
