Restorative Yoga

This class is for all levels and all abilities.  We will incorporate gentle stretches and movements with restorative postures.  This quiet and calming class will help you support your parasympathetic nervous system.  This can help you build immunity and energy - and it just feels good!

Yoga : On and Off the Mat

This 6 month training begins in October and is the prerequisite to the RYT200 Training. You will learn the history and philosophy of yoga as well as the styles and postures that make up a hatha yoga practice.

Fascia, Anatomy, and Asana: Connecting the Dots in Your Practice with David Lesondak

David Lesondak, BCSI, ATSI, FFT, LMT will teach us the about fascia and the fascial lines (using the Anatomy Trains model). David will then address your individual postural patterns and asymmetries to help deepen your yoga practice. David recently published his first book, "FASCIA What it is and why it matters," through Handspring Publishing.

Sangha is starting a book club where we can come together to connect with friends and discuss a book with a mindful focus. Bonus: this is a B.Y.O.W. event. Bring your favorite wine to share with friends! In addition to the book discussions and wine drinking, there will be a brief meditation.

Our first reading will be  The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. The first meeting will be held on October 7th from 6 to 8 PM. Please RSVP so we have an idea of how many to expect. Please notify us in advance if a folding chair will be needed.

Late Fall and Early Winter are known as the season of Vata. According to Ayurveda, Vata is the dosha of air and ether - the dosha of cold and wind.   Join Andrea as she guides you through some information about the dosha and the season.  Then you'll relax into some gentle yoga postures and meditation that ensure that Earth connection.  Finally, with the help of Young Living Essential Oils, you will find restorative yoga postures to release stress and find comfort.

Reiki Level 1 Training
