Manager's Minute
Dear Fireside Residents,
It is clearly observed how important the Halloween spirit is for our Fireside residents during the month of October. This energy has been witnessed for almost two decades through the elaborate décor and community participation that Fireside is recognized for and contributed to many families’ decision to reside here. Both the Fireside HOA Board of Directors and Management Team recognize that the DRCA is correct in their reference to their Design Guidelines (please find excerpt for reference below) related to all holiday decorations that fall outside of the month of December, yet are confused by their change of enforcement of such requirements compared to previous years.
In an effort towards the DRCA Board of Directors’ consideration to amend the current Design Guidelines to recognize the Halloween holiday décor be treated in a similar approach given to the December holidays, we ask for your support of this request. If desired, please reply back to this communication with your LAST NAME and HOME ADDRESS to support the DRCA amending their governing documents to allow Fireside and all Desert Ridge residents the option to place Halloween decorations for display 30-Days prior to the holiday along with the requirement of removal within 3-Days after said holiday. These collected details will then be combined and forwarded to the DRCA along with the request for review as an October meeting agenda topic.
