Fall General Election

The Fall General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. View the resources below to be prepared for Election Day.

Need a Ride to Vote?

The Green Bay Transit Commission has approved free rides for elections, including early voting. Residents who would like to receive a day pass to vote can call Andrea at 920-448-3457 or visit the Green Bay Metro Office (901 University Avenue).

Please note: Requests must be made prior to election day.

Novara Apartments Celebrates Grand Opening

Novara Apartments, located at 2277 Holmgren Way, celebrated its grand opening on September 30 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new apartment community offers studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, along with amenities including a rooftop, fitness center, workspaces, and areas for residents to gather and relax.

New Fox River Trail Segment Breaks Ground

A new segment of the Ashwaubomay Trail is planned along the Fox River, connecting the existing riverfront trail in Ashwaubenon to the Brown County Fairgrounds. When finished, the trail will run a continuous 2.1 miles from the marina to the fairgrounds, giving residents more room to walk, bike, and enjoy the riverfront.

The project is a collaboration between Brown County, the Village of Ashwaubenon, the City of De Pere, and NEW Water. Construction of the trail segment and new riverfront campsites at the fairgrounds is expected to be complete in late spring 2027.

New Digital Bus Stop Signage

Green Bay Metro has added a new solar-powered digital sign at the Bay Park Square bus stop on Oneida Street. The new E-paper sign provides real-time bus arrival information and service alerts, making it easier for riders to know when their bus is arriving. No app required.

Fall Leaf Collection

Curbside leaf collection begins Monday, October 5, 2026, with two leaf vacuum trucks. The full fleet will begin collection the week of October 19. Weather permitting, collection will continue through Wednesday, November 25, 2026.

Residents may rake leaves into piles behind the curb and place them in open areas away from trees, mailboxes, and other obstructions to ensure efficient collection.

The Village offers a variety of curbside services to help keep your property and yard in top shape. Take advantage of them today!

Fall Leaf Collection

Fall leaf collection is scheduled for Monday, October 5 – Wednesday, November 25.

Large Item Collection

Large item collection for 2026 is now complete. The next collection will be in April 2027.

In the meantime, large items can be taken to the Brown County Waste Transfer Station at 3734 W Mason St. for a minimum fee of $27. A bright yellow reflective garment is required to enter.

Brush Collection

Brush collection is offered year-round upon request at ashwaubenon.gov/brush. Service is limited to village addresses, runs on a four-week cycle, and requires your contact information.

Garbage & Recycling

Garbage is collected once a week on your assigned weekday. Recycling is picked up every other week on the same day, based on your A-week or B-week schedule.
