Danville mourns the loss of two champions of the River District, and the City of Danville
Kathy Cropp
Kathy Cropp was a beloved business owner in the River District. She, along with her family, brought us Me's Burgers and Brews, and King Cropp Food. All of us in the River District will miss her smile, her kindness, and her ability to make you feel like family. Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we are very thankful for her investment in this wonderful City.
Linwood Wright
Linwood Wright was a former Mayor of the City of Danville. Through his many years of service to the City of Danville he was a champion and an advocate for the City's economic development. He is remembered as a person with a bright mind, an unwavering dedication to his community, and a special laugh and sense of humor. It's already time to plan your HOME for the Holidays greeting video!
It's already time to share holiday greeting videos for our HOME for the Holiday's video production! This year, we are producing six 30-minute segments, to be released each Friday from November 26th to December 31st.

For the video:
  • Create a 10 second video greeting.
  • You can tell a joke, share your favorite holiday memory, or sing a song! Get creative!

Remember to start recording your video on the landscape orientation.

Share this with friends and family all over the state, country and world. We want as many people who live here or have a connection with Danville to participate.
