The full moon on October 6th promises to be an illuminating experience. Called the Harvest moon this will be the first of three consecutive Supermoons unfolding over the next three months. Supermoons not only appear brighter and larger in the sky, but their energy is also more potent bringing heightened emotions, momentum and clarity. Sleeping may very well be disruptive and full of vivid dreams. Be prepared for mood swings, heightened emotions, and extra sensitivity - especially if you’re female, after all it is Lunar energy.
This month will be an active time for meteorites. (Remember falling stars are created when pieces from a meteorite collide with the Earth's atmosphere.) The Draconids meteor shower will peak October 6–10 with the 8th expected to be the most active, though the brilliance of the full moon will dim visibly. Later in the month, the Orionids shower, originating from the Hallies Comet, will light up the skies from October 21- 23 with the new moon providing darker skies making it easier to spot activity and a perfect time to look up and wish upon a falling star.

But first I want to talk about a few major planetary aspects that have been occurring in the last few months, will continue in October and through the rest of 2025 (and to 2029!). These major aspects include the outer planets Uranus, Neptune/Saturn, and Pluto interacting in a rare Grand Sextile, or “Star of David,” pattern involving Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune, with Jupiter potentially joining later in 2026 to complete a more complex Star of David configuration.
