Announcement from the MassCyberCenter:
Happy Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month!
On behalf of the team at the MassCyberCenter, I am writing to ask for your participation in Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month, which will take place throughout October. Held concurrently with National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the theme of Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month 2021 is “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.”

Governor Baker signed an official proclamation to formally announce Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month and taped a brief video to help us kick off the Month.
Stay Informed, Get Involved!

  • Events will take place across Massachusetts throughout October to raise awareness about cybersecurity and highlight the state's cybersecurity ecosystem. Attend an event or share the calendar with your friends.
  • Check out our website which lists cybersecurity best practices and explains how everyone can work together to secure their information while conducting life’s work in the office or at home. It is important to proactively defend ourselves against cyber threats, as cyber hackers and criminals take advantage of our increased reliance on technology.
  • A stakeholder tool kit for the Massachusetts Cybersecurity Month campaign is available for download here. The kit contains content you can use on social media and in newsletters to highlight cybersecurity in October.
  • Explore Opportunities! Looking for a New Career Opportunity in Cybersecurity?! MassCyberCenter has a cybersecurity job board!

More information about the Cyber Month can be found here. Should you need any additional materials to support a Cybersecurity Month event, or if you have any questions, please contact the MassCyberCenter at MassCyberCenter@masstech.org.

I thank you for your continued engagement, leadership, and support for our Commonwealth’s dynamic and powerful cybersecurity ecosystem.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Helm
